What is Life Coaching?

“Life Coaching is an ongoing intentional conversation that empowers a person or group to fully live out God's calling in their life and personal profession.”

The goals of coaching are to (1) better hear the leading of the Holy Spirit, (2) discover new things about yourself both internally and externally, and (3) take action to shape your life around the Holy Spirit’s leading and the things you discover.

Life Coaching Is:

  • A fixed time for you to concentrate, talk, and explore your most important topic at that time.

  • An unscripted series of thought-producing questions that bring exploration and discovery regarding the day’s topic.

  • Focused on you – your goals, your learning, and your growth.

  • A time to learn, not to be taught.

  • A time to plan out action steps.

Life Coaching is Not:

  • Therapy. Therapy focuses on the past. Coaching is future-oriented for people who are clear of psychological and emotional issues.

  • Mentoring. Mentors are experts in their field. They function as an advisor, teacher, and guide. Coaches do not do these things.

  • Training. Trainers set the agenda, and change comes from them. In coaching, you set the agenda.

Benefits of Life Coaching:

  8. You will have renewed energy to create and accelerate your vision.
