what a journey!
Born in Pennsylvania, I always desired to see the world and meet new people. After college, I worked as a retail and business manager in Pennsylvania and New York. In 1998, I became restless, spending so many hours working, but feeling that I was not making an impact within the Kingdom of God. After considering several options, God led me on a mission trip to Romania, and while overseas, I felt His call to prepare for long-term, overseas ministry.
Part of the preparation included selling my house and moving to North Carolina for seminary. While at seminary, my wife and I prayed separately about joining the mission field and together decided to go to Lucknow, India. God’s leading was like a spotlight that continually became more and more focused. It started with a desire to work for the Kingdom and ended with a specific people group in a specific city. On September 25, 2004, with my wife and three children (ages 5, 7, and 8 pictured here), I began a new stage in my spiritual journey by moving to India.
Chittagong, Bangladesh
Overseas
We remained in the city of Lucknow for nine years. Ministry had its ups and downs, but amid all the emotions of living overseas, God was faithful. Over time, my family fell in love with Lucknow and will always consider it home. While living in India, a Western friend introduced me to life coaching, and I eventually took classes to earn several life coaching certifications.
In 2013, my wife and I moved to southern Bangladesh. Then, in July 2024, we returned to the USA permanently.
I love meeting people both in my area and wherever I travel. Each time I speak with the local people, I learn from them and use that information to develop contextually appropriate ways to present the gospel.
